We sign our Cost Planning Agreement. Then simultaneously:

The drawings get approved by the licensed structural engineer. He specializes in timber frame construction, and is specifically knowledgeable in environmentally-conscious building practices and the proper use and design of traditional mortice-and-tenon joinery;
— we investigate your building site soil condition, dig test holes and execute the load-bearing soil test.
When the drawings are ready, we develop a fixed-price quote for a defined scope of work. It guarantees no unexpected cost overruns or extra charges to you.
